CodeCubs Academy ("we", "us") provides live online Python lessons for children aged 7–15. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We designed our service so that parents and guardians, not children, provide the information we need.

Who we are

Information we collect

• From parents/guardians when booking: your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number and country.
• About your child (provided by you): first name (optional), age, coding experience and interests. We use this only to plan the lesson.
• Booking details: the date and time you choose, collected through our scheduling provider (Cal.com).
• Technical and advertising data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location, and the ad or link that brought you to us (for example UTM or click IDs), collected through cookies and similar technologies described below.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, contact us and we will delete it.

How we use it

• To schedule and deliver your free trial class and any paid lessons.
• To send booking confirmations, reminders and progress updates by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
• To follow up after your trial class about enrolling. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• To measure and improve our advertising and website.

We never sell your personal information, and we never use children's information for advertising.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and Conversions API to understand how visitors use our site and to measure whether our ads work. These services may set cookies and receive information such as your IP address, browser details and, in hashed (encrypted) form, the email address or phone number you submit, so they can match the booking to an ad click. Visitors in the UK and EU are asked for consent before advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice by clearing your browser's cookies for this site, and you can opt out of personalised ads through your Google and Meta ad settings.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers who help us run the business, under their own privacy and security terms: Cloudflare (website hosting), Cal.com (scheduling), Google (video calls, email, analytics, advertising), Meta (advertising measurement) and our payment processor (for paid plans). We may also disclose information if required by law.

Lessons

Lessons take place over video call (usually Google Meet). We record lessons only when a parent asks us to, and recordings are shared only with that family.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, and student records for as long as you're enrolled plus 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, Canada's PIPEDA, and US state laws such as the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent. Email hello@codecubsacademy.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (for example the ICO in the UK).

International transfers

We and our providers may process information outside your country, including in Pakistan and the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as our providers' standard contractual clauses.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the "last updated" date above when we do.
